Navigating NDIS funding for sensory equipment can feel overwhelming, even with recent updates to the guidelines.

A simple way to check if an item may be suitable for funding is to ask: Is it safe and appropriate? Is it reasonable and necessary?

All Body Socks products fall under low cost, low risk assistive technology and are under $1,500.

Please note: Body Socks is not NDIS registered, so approval for funding will need to be confirmed directly with the NDIS.

To help support your request, written justification from an Allied Health professional, such as an Occupational Therapist can be valuable. They can explain how the product supports your individual needs and goals. If you're unsure about whether a product is eligible, reviewing your NDIS plan and seeking guidance from your therapist or planner is a great place to start.

Please place the order in the name of the participant, enter the NDIS # after the surname or in company box. 

Self Managed: 

Please place the order online and pay with any method you choose.

You can then use the receipt to make a payment request in your portal.

Plan Managed:

Please place the order online as normal using the NDIS participants details, enter the NDIS # after the surname or in company box

At checkout select NDIS Plan Managed as the payment option and our system will generate an invoice for you to send to your Plan Manager.

Once payment has been received, your items will be shipped.
